Our judges don’t want a glossy brochure. They want the real story of how you’ve enriched the lives of your international students during 2025–26. Tell us why you’re proud of your school and how you’ve created an experience that not only welcomes young people from around the world, but genuinely celebrates the cultures they bring with them. Share vivid examples and meaningful evidence where it counts (but avoid rattling off lists). Above all, paint a picture. If our judges were to wander through your school on a normal weekday, what would they see? International students thriving in lessons, sharing their traditions, feeling entirely at home?
The questions below should guide your entry. Keep your focus firmly on your support for international students, rather than the broader life of the school.
- Why is your school such a special place for international students?
What sets your provision apart from others? Which headline successes and achievements make your programme worthy of this award? (Around 200 words.)
- How has your support met the specific needs of international students in 2025–26 and ensured a genuinely positive experience?
Tell us about the initiatives or projects this year that have made you particularly proud. (Around 150 words.)
- What values sit at the heart of your support for international students?
What difference does the support given make—within your community and for the young people themselves? How does their time at your school equip them for the opportunities and challenges of life beyond the school gates? (Around 150 words.)
